In less than 30 seconds, Power-Flex transforms a manual wheelchair into a compact power mobility solution without sacrificing the seating, positioning, maneuverability, and lifestyle users depend on every day. Whether navigating long distances, steep inclines, rough terrain, or simply conserving energy throughout the day, Power-Flex empowers users to decide when to push and when to ride.

In this series we dive into the power assist for manual wheelchairs, available options and why wheelchair users and Veterans continue to struggle in the transition from pushing to power-assist. We introduce the Power-Flex power add-on device and discuss how we are bridging the gap between manual wheelchairs and dedicated large powerchairs with industry leading features like manual tilt and suspension.

In Part 2, we provide a quick re-cap of Part 1 but then dive deeper into the key features of the Power-Flex power add-on device and what sets it apart from other power-assist products. We discuss the clinical benefits of manual tilt, suspension and go in depth about travel and key benefits.

In the final series we recap why the Power-Flex power add-on device is great for veterans and the VA rehabilitation system and then hear from 4 wheelchair users and a Clinician on how the Power-Flex has benefited their daily routines, independence, and shoulder health.

On most airlines, the Power-Flex will fit on the plane without the need for the dreaded aisle chair and with its compact size, also fits through the plane side cargo door upright reducing the risk of damage to your mobility device.

This video shows the Power-Flex taking on a bumpy boardwalk then on to the sand. Obviously the harder the sand the easier the Power-Flex will roll.
